Regent’s Park College, Oxford:

Project Archivist, Full time short term (6 mths) Grade 5

Regent’s Park College (RPC), has a full time, short term (6 mth), grant- funded position which will provide a unique opportunity for an archivist with experience in undertaking needs assessments of archive collections. RPC has recently secured funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to develop an application for an exciting project which will enable The Angus Library and Archive to reach a wider audience resulting in greater participation.

We are therefore looking for someone who has the appropriate skills and experience to undertake a comprehensive assessment of the archiving needs and requirements of The Angus Archive and backlog. They will then be required to present the findings in a report that will inform the application process. Experience with HLF projects and an understanding of the requirements of activity plans, would be an advantage.

Corpus Christi College, Oxford:
Assistant Archivist (part-time)
University Support Staff Grade 4 (£19,822 – £22,971) p.a. pro rata (plus benefits)

Corpus Christi College is seeking to appoint an Assistant Archivist on a three year contract, working part-time (two days (i.e. 14 hours) per week). The post holder will work with the modern and historic archives and manuscript collections, while the Archivist provides support for the recently commissioned college history. Duties will include sharing responsibility for supervising readers and cataloguing archive material. (Please note this is not a trainee position.)
