  • interesting events: visit led by an Old Member of Balliol, of a group of Swedes visiting Oxford from St Sigfrids folkhögskola (community college) in Växjö, Oxford’s link diocese in Sweden; Unlocking Archives talk by Naomi Tiley on ‘Representing the Ghost of Shakespear’:  summoning the spirits for Balliol’s spring exhibition.

What was I doing while so few people were here doing research? Oh, a few little things, adding nearly 3000 records to the Adlib database, reboxing 100+ boxes of archives, answering those 90+ enquiries with anything from an individually researched response or on-demand good-quality digital images to research guidance and help interpreting finding aids, adding 1000+ images to Flickr, assisting curators of two future exhibitions and planning a third, creating new displays for the college antechapel and Library…
