Belloc of Balliol

Several archives around the country have put up virtual Advent calendars to showcase some interesting items from their collections (British Postal Museum & Archive, University of Stirling Special Collections, University of Liverpool Special Collections). As that is one of the year-round purposes of this blog, there will be no Advent calendar here, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be some interesting items posted this month! Here is the first:
